In 2017, Founded Children and Family Comprehensive Health Outreach (CFCHO), birth from a continual discovering of a growing need to help those not in the position to help themselves. Linda has more than five years of experience in non-profit management to disadvantage populations in Chicago, Illinois. Her passion emanated from a personal desire that has led her to help individuals and families plague by violence, substance abuse, mental health, criminal in-justices and the challenges of homelessness.
Linda has been a community advocate for more than 10 years, mainly in Chicagoland area. Always driven with a passion to help others since 2002, while attending Malcolm X College, preparing to qualify to become a Physician Assistant, which was redirected due to personal reasons. Nevertheless, her advocacy continues in a different path with the same fervor to help the underprivileged by being a mentor at several Chicago Public Schools; volunteered at numerous non-profit organizations to educate the underprivileged of the importance of credit-worth, becoming a homeowner, business development, financial stability and training. She believes self-reliance is the ingredient to acquire some form of functionality in society; hence shaped by her passion and belief in social rights for all. To her credit, she has bestowed several certificates and recognition from Riis High-school, Phi Theta Kappa, and Whose who Book to say the least.
